Guide to Getting Involved in Plural Activism
The Rings System and Alexandrite System (who both have YouTube channels and other social media) created an easy to use page that gives a great introduction to work to help empower and change the world for and by we who are many in one body.

Redwoods in viral YouTube Video – our interview with Anthony Padilla has almost 10 million views. His videos of this style start with presenting a lot of stereotypes to reach a wide audience before breaking them down.

Redwoods on Coming out as Plural Panel

We were on a great panel with other systems as part of the Plural Positivity World Conference 2020 – the runtime is only 1 hour, the rest was chat time. Check out the other videos on that channel!

Introduction: the internet is multiple

We used to think we needed to write a book about being multiple. Being more than one person in one body understandably “blows people’s minds” when they first hear about it, and can also bring up strong concerns or objections and major questions. We were answering so many questions in our personal lives, we thought we needed to write an explainer. But stigma had a funny way of stopping us from simply using Google. Once we got over that fear, and spent lots of time combing search engine results, we found trove after trove of writings by multiples. Yet many were in-depth, or for niche topics or audiences, leaving us without a single link to send to interested family and friends.

This is our attempt to weave a path, and create a guide. This is just a list of links, we haven’t summarized or constructed any meta-narrative, just a good list. Personal experience is a powerful educator, and while people speak sometimes about their understanding of multiplicity at large, almost all acknowledge the fact that there is little that is definitive or universal. If your work is included here and you’d rather it not, contact us. Also feel free to contact us with suggested additions.

different FAQs written by multiples
The Same questions tend to come up again and again. The best way to get a sense of these and the answers is to read how several different multiples answer these questions. Consider that they have also influenced each other to some degree in some cases.

Remember that many multiples either describe mostly just their own experience, and where they speak about larger truths they are often efforts to counter common misconceptions but by no means definitive.

IGDID conference – Seattle – October
An Infinite Mind: Healing Together – Orlando Florida – February

both of these established conferences have a significant presence of community and clinicians and generally emphasize trauma, recovery, and Dissociative Identity Disorder. We are not associated with these conferences, but have been to both, and if you would like advice on whether they might be a right fit for you that’s a great use of our navigation services.
